Trichocereus Pachanoi cultivar “Rod” (10-12 inch tip cutting).This is an other important member of the Australian cactus collecting culture. It is indeed a very singular pachanoi, coloration is unique with its intense dark green and brown spines. Its growing characteristics are also relevant as it grows fast and forms candelabra shape easily.

Propagation is done in an ethical manner in our private collection to help with the preservation of the species in its natural habitat. Cuttings have mature girth and measure 25-30cm. Before shipping, plants are sprayed with sulfur in order to prevent rot and pests. All cacti are wrapped individually to ensure they arrive unharmed  to your garden.

Trichocereus pachanoi “Rod” is a cultivar of the Trichocereus pachanoi cactus, also known as the San Pedro cactus. The “Rod” cultivar is named after its original grower, Rod B. It is known for its thick, fast-growing stems and its tolerance for colder temperatures compared to other Trichocereus pachanoi cultivars

Trichocereus pachanoi “Rod” is a unique cultivar that is distinguished by its elongated and slender stems, which can grow up to 6 meters tall. It has a blue-green color and is covered with small spines and dark areoles.

The “Rod” cultivar is highly valued among cacti enthusiasts for its ornamental value and unique appearance. When grown in the right conditions, Trichocereus pachanoi “Rod” can produce beautiful white flowers that add to its ornamental value.
